FAQ

here are some frequently asked questions from couples

do we require a full day of your service?

The duration of service is dependent on your wedding day itinerary and needs. Wedding days can range from 6 to 12 hours, with 8 hours of coverage to be the usual sweet spot for a full wedding day.

Feel free to drop an enquiry with your proposed wedding timeline and I’ll be happy to share a suggested coverage duration that ensures there’s sufficient time to fully capture your wedding day.

do you document weddings alone?

Yes! All of the photographs you see on this website and on my Instagram portfolio are all taken under the circumstances of a solo shooter on wedding days.

My photographic process at every wedding is a deeply personal one, shared between my couple and I. As a result, the intentionality and emotions behind each frame will be felt most deeply by you.

Regardless, should you have concerns and would like to have a second photographer for extra coverage on your wedding day, second shooters are available at an additional rate. Please drop an enquiry with these concerns and rest assured, an assistant will be alongside me for your wedding day!

we’ve noticed your portfolio is black and white-forward.

can we request for more colour-based photos?

Absolutely!

We experience life in full colour and I believe strongly that photographs should be in true tone, full-coloured to be an accurate reflection of all the happenings of a wedding day.

Please do not worry, while my portfolio extensively features my favourite black and white photographs, majority of every wedding gallery delivered to my clients are in full colour, with a small variety of monochromatic shots sprinkled throughout.

Black and white or full-colour, they work together for the full re-telling of every wedding gallery experienced and delivered.

what if it rains on our wedding day?

Open your arms and embrace the rain!

Fortunately or unfortunately, we live in an equatorial country and Singapore’s weather ranges from extremely hot to insane downpours, with the weather being mostly unpredictable.

My stance remains: don’t let wet weather affect your wedding day.

For light drizzles, photography in the rain with an umbrella is possible if you and your partner are comfortable with shooting in the rain. You will see that some of the photographs featured on my portfolio are in fact shot in the rain, from quiet laughter shared under an umbrella to absolute chaos having fun escaping the rain.

I’ll be monitoring the weather situation leading up to your wedding day and should there be expected heavy downpours, we’ll be making the necessary adjustments (shifting ceremony indoors, indoor portraits, etc.) to ensure that we make the best of your wedding day!

we are so excited for our wedding but there’s so many things to consider.

can we plan our wedding day with you?

What are we waiting for?

Absolutely! Planning any event for the first time is bound to be overwhelming, much less your own wedding. It’s perfectly normal to find yourself bombarded with opinions of already wedded friends and ever-growing needs from family traditions.

Once we’re in contact and you’ve kindly shared your wedding needs and concerns with me, I will be sitting down with you and discussing how best to go about planning to meet your wedding day needs.

My stance? Weddings are about you. From couples that march down the aisle in styled-out Suicokes and Yeezys, to no frills restaurant celebrations that’s all about being together with family and friends, the best weddings remembered were the ones where the couple planned to let their hair down and just enjoy their special day.

how far in advance do we need to book?

Bookings are currently opened up to 1.5 years in advance, with most couples opting to book a 8-12 months in advance.

I would love to photograph every wedding that comes my way, but I am only human and can only be present at a limited number of weddings per year.

Feel free to reach out and I’ll be happy to share my availability to be a part of your big day!

we’re really vibing with you and we seem like a good fit!

can we get to know you more before deciding?

Definitely!

I always extend a short physical meetup with my potential brides and grooms to get to know you guys more and understand your wedding needs a little better.

Singapore is a small island, so be it a cafe or your home, there’s no place too far for me to meet my couples for a consultation session.

These sessions are for you to get to understand the intentionality behind my style of wedding photography better and the photographer behind. A little ice-breaker session if you will!

And if after our conversation over coffee, you really dig my vibes, then all that’s left is to secure your wedding date with me and we’ll wait patiently for the most epic day of your life.
